Governance |
Saint Patrick
School is governed by the Diocese of Harrisburg. The diocese
is responsible for its continuing operation. Locally, the pastor
of the parish is responsible for governing and maintaining the
school. The Office of Catholic Education determines the curriculum
for the school. The Saint Patrick Board of Education advises the principal on various aspects of the school. The principal is charged with the development and implementation of policy,
supervision of teachers, and day-to-day operations of the school.
The Parent Action Team of Saint Patrick School (PATS) exists
to assist, enrich, and support the administration, faculty,
students, and parents of the school.
Faculty
and Staff
The faculty
and staff of Saint Patrick School work as a team in developing
our children into caring, respectful, intellectual, spiritual,
and unique individuals. As professional people, we are committed
to religious and academic excellence as well as to student growth
and achievement. In addition to keeping abreast of current trends
through professional reading, all staff members attend conferences,
workshops, and seminars for their own personal growth and professional
development. The principal provides time for formal gatherings
for spiritual and academic development of teachers and staff.
The administration annually evaluates all teachers, not only
as a means of affirming their vital roles as catholic educators,
but also as a way of offering support.
